My name is Emma, I’m a married mum of two girls, and I’ve lived in Dublin for most of my life. I grew up in a completely non‑religious home; many moons ago my mother became one of the first Humanist celebrants in Ireland. Her work sounded like a wonderful way to serve people, so in 2007 I qualified as a Humanist celebrant myself.
I began primarily as a wedding celebrant and have absolutely loved helping couples create ceremonies that are personal, meaningful and down‑to‑earth — honest words, plenty of heart, and space for joy and laughter. My ceremonies are dignified where they need to be, but always warm and welcoming. After all these years, I remain deeply passionate about this work, and I’m always refining my service, delivery and scripts so each ceremony feels just right.

We’ll chat about what matters to you, choose the right words and elements, and shape a ceremony that feels authentic-whether it’s joyous and light-hearted, quiet and reflective, or somewhere in between. My role is to guide, edit and deliver the ceremony with care, clarity and respect so everything flows beautifully on the day.
For me, the need for ceremony is universal. Every Humanist ceremony places a person, and their story, at its centre. Whether you are enquiring about a wedding, a baby naming or a funeral service, I look forward to working with you and your family. I am also an HSE‑registered Legal Solemniser, so where relevant, I can make your marriage legal within the ceremony.
